Garmin Announces Victory in Triangle Software LLC Patent Case

 Garmin International, Inc., a subsidiary of Garmin Ltd., the global leader in satellite navigation, announced today that in the patent litigation initiated by Triangle Software LLC against Garmin International, Inc., in the Eastern District of Virginia, the Court has entered judgment in favor of Garmin. Triangles lawsuit targeted Garmins popular nuvi(R) and zumo(R) product lines.

Johnson & Johnson loses patent battle with Abbott Laboratories

 The U.S. Supreme Court rejected Johnson & Johnsons request to reinstate the largest patent- infringement verdict in American history, a $1.67 billion award it won against Abbott Laboratories over arthritis treatments.

The high court today declined to review a lower court ruling that a patent on a method to make antibodies was invalid because it inadequately described what J&Js Janssen Biotech said it invented.

MacroSolve Files Patent Infringement Suit Against GEICO

Tannenbaum Helpern Secures Patent Infringement Win for Hypoxico

 In a jury trial that lasted two weeks in Federal Court in New York, the jury found that tent products sold by CAT over the last decade infringed two Hypoxico patents covering systems that provide hypoxic (low oxygen) environments that simulate high altitude.

Tannenbaum Helpern entered the dispute during the summer of 2011 after the Court ordered a second trial following a successful jury trial in 2009.
